Precise localization while operating dental fixings, broken jawbones and wisdom teeth,
as well as improved orientation when implanting artificial teeth by merging CT/MRI images with the surgical site.
For ENT surgery, we developed the fix mode, which fixes the 3D CT or MRI image on the head. Additional modalities allow the cutting and immersion in the individual layers. Microscope and endoscope functions are currently under development.
The VSI allows precise transplantation of nerves or tendon rearrangements, especially in reconstructive surgery with the surgical restoration of lost body function and body shapes.
For the epilepsy department, we are developing automatic detection of epilepsy seizures based on audio and video data to facilitate the process of epilepsy diagnosis to the physician.
We have developed a procedure for automatically placing the 3D CT or MRI images on the surgical site to improve intraoperative diagnostics.
Precise localization of metastasis by the VSI eliminates the need for additional CTs and MRIs in diagnostic and interventional radiology.
