apoQlar Medical

apoQlar GmbH stands for medical progress and it is a worldwide leader for innovative medical applications. We specialize in the latest technologies, particularly in imaging techniques (mixed and augmented reality) and data evaluation for quality assurance by artificial intelligence and continuous machine learning. The applications are developed and implemented in close cooperation with research institutes, clinics, hospitals, and doctors. We attach great importance to security, ease of use and fast implementation. Main product is Virtual Surgery Intelligence (VSI), which combines all of these technologies to deliver completely new medical solutions and applications.

Located in Germany, our main office is placed in the center of the Hanseatic city of Hamburg. From here we control product development, cooperation and sales.

Our cooperation partners include, among others, the Fraunhofer Institute, University of Bremen, Catholic Marien Hospital Hamburg, Microsoft and Philips.

Neurosurgery

Neurosurgeons can dive into the 3-dimensional MRI head, peel it, and virtually lap it over the surgical site. In this way, even the smallest lesions can be recognized and surgically removed with a high degree of precision.

ENT

For surgeries in the ENT area, e.g. sinus surgery, a high-quality microscope is important.
To ‘slide’ through the 3D MRI images and cut the redundant parts, is another indispensable functionality.

Plastic surgery

The VSI allows precise transplantation of nerves or tendon rearrangements, especially in reconstructive surgery with the surgical restoration of lost body function and body shapes.

Epilepsy

Radiology

The 3D view of MRI and CT scans is an excellent tool for radiologists to diagnose a patient’s disease. The functionality to mark structures inside the images is of great value and helpful for further treatment.

Radiooncology

Precise localization of metastasis by the VSI eliminates the need for additional CTs and MRIs in diagnostic and interventional radiology.

Oral surgery

Precise localization while operating dental fixings, broken jawbones and wisdom teeth, as well as improved orientation when implanting artificial teeth by merging CT/MRI images with the surgical site.

Spine surgery

The 3-dimensional view of the spine generated from the original CT images of the patient, as well as the exact overlap of these via the vertebral bones, are a clear advantage in the detection of diseases, injuries, surgical and conventional therapeutic method.
