Senator Cornelia Prüfer-Storcks has tested our VSI

Hamburg’s Senator for Health and Consumer Protection, Cornelia Prüfer-Storcks, visited Philips’ Health Innovation Port.

So we took this opportunity to introduce ourselves. Our head and neck surgeon, Dr. Hans-J. von Lücken explained our VSI project to the Senator. And our CTO & CEO, Sirko Pelzl, used the chance to present the HoloLens to her. Afterward, Sen. Prüfer-Strocks tried it on and experienced the 3D MRI Holograms herself. The functionality to move the MRI images through a cube made it possible to dive into the different layers of the MRI.

The Health Innovation Port (HIP) is the first Coworking Hub located in Hamburg. This hub has dedicated itself to new companies which focus on eHealth, health and medical technology. It was established by Philips and the Technician Health Maintenance Organization (Techniker Krankenkasse). The official opening of the hub will be in October 2017. Yet apoQlar has already joined in July 2017 and has been a part of it ever since.
