Under this grant, apoQlar will supply a total of 30 advanced MR and VR devices. These state-of-the-art devices will be integrated with the HoloMedicine® Platform, a cutting-edge digital solution designed to transform preoperative surgical planning and improve educational outcomes for medical students.

The integration of the HoloMedicine® Platform aims to incorporate digital solutions into 20% of surgical preoperative procedures. By leveraging the power of mixed reality, this initiative will allow surgeons to visualize and plan complex surgeries with unprecedented clarity. The platform provides 3D visualization of patient-specific anatomy, enabling surgeons to rehearse and strategize their approach, ultimately helping enhancing patient safety, reducing surgical risks, and improving postoperative outcomes.

In addition to its clinical applications, the HoloMedicine® Platform will play a crucial role in medical education. The initiative is expected to significantly increase student engagement and knowledge retention by providing immersive, interactive learning experiences. Medical students and residents will benefit from digital training sessions, real-time surgical broadcasts, and access to virtual teaching aids, such as 3D models and videos. These innovative educational tools are designed to provide clearer, more engaging instruction, thus better preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals.

“This grant represents a milestone in our mission to enhance healthcare through innovative technology,” said Sirko Pelzl, CEO of apoQlar. “We are excited to collaborate with the ICS and leverage our HoloMedicine® Platform to improve both surgical outcomes and medical education. This project underscores our commitment to delivering advanced digital health solutions that make a real difference in patient care and professional training.”

The implementation of the HoloMedicine® Platform will be supported by a comprehensive training program for healthcare professionals and technical support. The goal is to ensure seamless integration and maximize the benefits of this groundbreaking technology across the Northern Metropolitan Territorial Management’s facilities.
